David W. Goldberg, voice and presence coach

David W. Goldberg.

Founder & CEO, Edge Studio & Prosody.center · Voice, Speaking & Presence Coach

Trust isn’t only in what you say. It’s in how you’re heard — the voice, the timing, the presence behind the words.

David W. Goldberg has spent more than three decades on the side of the microphone where trust is either earned or lost in the first few seconds of a voice. As Founder and CEO of Edge Studio — the Times Square voice-over production and training center behind more than 13,000 projects for brands like Google, Microsoft, Apple, CNN, and National Geographic — he has directed and coached thousands of professional voices, and is widely regarded as one of the finest ears in the industry.

His path to sound began with silence. Born with hearing challenges and a delayed speaker as a child, David had to reverse-engineer the very things most people take for granted — how words land, how tone builds belief, how presence is transmitted. He found his way through music, playing piano and drums before becoming a producer and engineer on more than 150 albums, including work with artists such as John Mayer and Deep Purple. He founded Edge Studio in 1988 as a music-recording facility, then pivoted it in 2007 into the voice-over powerhouse it is today.

Now, as Founder and CEO of Prosody.center and one of the top speaking and presence coaches in the United States, David teaches the lesson underneath all of it: trust is transmitted, not just stated. How you say something determines whether you are believed. In 30 Days to a High-Trust Life, he brings 36 years of listening to the page — showing readers how voice, presence, and genuine attention become the fastest way to build the trust that words alone never can.
